Car selection - Executive selection has worst choices, I don't have to comment on the others
As everyone states this National is terrible... Unless you really like driving a Chevy Cruze. Travel for work all the time don't expect too much but always appreciate getting a nice car from the Executive aisle. Please everyone do yourself a favor and do not patron this National car rental; to be honest National should shut this place down its a disgrace to the brand.
Counter bypass - Never, you have to go through a booth all the time
The car selection is HORRIBLE. Their "emerald aisle" is a line of Chevy Cruises in a variety of colors. I am executive now and when I arrived on my last trip the entire executive section was made up of cars and one small SUV. My needs for a larger SUV were not met (even though I called ahead and was told they usually have some available), staff was rude, and I would not recommend this National location to anyone.
I travel often for work and always use National because the Emerald Aisle is great. Here the Emerald Aisle is literally all Chevy Cruzes - I walked the whole aisle just to be sure. Maybe I would be a little more forgiving if it were a different car, but Chevy Cruzes are trash AND the whole point of the Emerald Aisle is being able to pick your car based on your preference. If you're renting a car in Milwaukee, go elsewhere.
Hope they will place other cars than just chevys - malibu impala trax and captiva .. rest of them get cruise
I have Executive Elite status and travel all over the states for work. I can honestly say the Milwaukee and Madison locations have the worst selections. This is saying a lot since i have even used national at smaller airports like Wichita, Lubbock, and Rocky Mountain Regional. The franchisee is a Chevy dealer and only provides base model Chevys. The executive aisle selections are limited to the Impala and Malabu. The emerald asile has the Cruze. You can also get the Trax which is a small SUV. I have seriously considered changing to Avis because of their selection. I would not recommend the Milwaukee or Madison locations. I also feel National corporate should get involved and require a larger selection.
No more lower rating possible .. Hahaha.
I travel for work and have been to many different National locations and this one is, by far, the worst. It is listed as having the "counter by-pass" service, however every time I go here I am stopped and/or hunted down to be brought back to the rental booth so they can check my reservation and then direct me where to go. Staff is always incredibly rude in these situations.
