My first time renting a car was a great experience. When I accidentally left my expensive sunglasses in the rental, I thought they were gone for good. However, the office staff called me to let me know and paid for shipping to my house. I was also surprised to have a hybrid car with great gas millage for my 2k mile trip. Thank you!
If you are flying into Milwaukee and need a rental car, I would highly recommend Dollar. Not only are their prices great, (always check the website for "city specials"), but their staff is congenial. I arrived on a bitter cold evening in December and was treated like a member of the family by the gentleman working in the booth in the car pick-up area. His concern to get me warmly on my way touched my heart. Does it get better than that? I don't think so.
The Worst car rental at Milwaukee Airport. Rented car online and went directly to their website, did not know that I was renting thru a third party. The third party charge me a fee of $222.56. State on the payment of the rental car .... rental is $290.02, Payment received $222.56 your cost when picking up the car is $67.46. Not true. My cost after I added another drive and additional insurance cost for renting the came out to $309.10 plus the $222.56 = $531.66. When I called to dispute the charge that they double charged me and their corp office said that I was responsible for the additional charge. Our family will never never use Dollar to rent a car. There is more just don't have the time write anymore about this terrible company. I have to give it a star to post comments online but one I would not give to this company. ZERO.......
Do not - do not - do not use this car rental. After checking the day before rental that everything was OK with the payment method, we go to the airport, wait in line for 30 minutes and are turned away because you must pay with a credit card that is in the name of the rental person. That is NOT what we were told on the phone. Their attitude was "so what, we have others waiting in line." Customer service workers don't even know their own policies. By the time we finished with customer service, we had lost almost 2 hours of travel time and they were NOT helpful. Called today and was transferred 6 times and then hung up on! Do not - do not- do not- do not- use this rental place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
