So earlier this summer I was driving in the slums of the southside and I happened to stumble upon "UNOS" car lot. I was looking at a VOLKSWAGEN and nobody came out to assist me. So I had to go in there, ( I am a white male mind you) the owner gave me an awkward look and seemed to not want to help me. This place is very racist, I would not go here if your not Hispanic. I went into Uno's Auto Sales a couple of times. The first time was quick just to look at a car. Marco came out and gave me his card and I went on my way. When I came back a few weeks later, after going to a couple of other places searching for a car, Rolando helped me. I was a little bit rushed because I needed to find a car quick because the rental I had was due for return. I let him know what I needed, and he was patient and showed me a couple of vehicles. I was really pleased with the service I received. I was looking for an honest dealer to do business with. Right off the bat, Rolando let me know they didn't sell salvaged vehicles, which many of the dealers in Milwaukee do. This showed me that they were not looking to cheat people. He was efficient, helped me finance what I needed, gave me options and made sure I walked away feeling comfortable. I like that fact that they also have their own repair shop. Marco assured me that Uno's takes really good care of their customers and if I needed any work done, I could count on them. Definitely recommend this auto dealer to anyone looking for a good car, as the owners were extremely helpful.
Their sticker price for the 2005 Odyssey we were looking at was $3000 above the Blue Book fair price value (excellent condition with low miles considered). And they would not even consider negotiating down. Wow. I'm sorry - but I don't care how much a car dealer "puts into a vehicle" or how much the car dealer "pays for the vehicle" , there is no way I would ever (or hopefully anyone else) pay $3,000 more that the Kelly Blue Book (or Emunds or Car Fax) value of a car. If you choose to buy from this place, make sure to do your research first. $9000 for a 2005 Honda Odyssey EX at 104,000 miles is outrageous. We ended up getting a 2007 same model Honda at 115,000 miles - for less money - at a place who was willing to negotiate.
