My stay at The Westin hotel was a pleasant one. The room (double bed, standard) was large and had a modern design with all the basics. WiFi was not complimentary, and they did not offer complimentary tooth brush or paste.
The room was just right, comfortable bed, smelled amazing, nice bathroom and bath products. We had a drink and an appetizer at the bar, the service was great as was the wine and food. Beautiful lobby and great staff everywhere looking to help and make the stay better.
The hotel was quite nice. Staff were friendly. The bar was well stocked with a nice synthetic of whiskey, though the dinner a bit salty. The gym was well appointed with new equipment. The oddest quirk about the hotel was the lobby on the third floor. It was a bit confusing and inconvenient during the check in process. The relative lack of elevators made the situation worse.
Upon arrival we were greeted by a valet person who became very cold after I told him we wouldn’t use the valet service and told us to move the car. I told him I needed to check in and he said ok, and didn’t even direct me to the desk. It’s a touch bit confusing to have the front desk on the third floor especially when the valet doesn’t direct you to the desk. The front desk agent was great and was able to check us in early. The extra hospitality for being pet friendly and leaving us a bowl for water and food was very cool! The restaurant was delicious and the blood Mary’s hit the spot. Very trendy hotel, I would suggest having your valet work on the 15:5 rule and ask them to be a little more friendly and to go above and beyond.
Friendly valet parking and friendly and helpful staff. Very clean building. Lunch was very good as well. Bartenders were also fast.
