I reserved a hotel room as part of a birthday celebration for my mom, who is turning 70 this year. We arranged for a nice dinner in the third ward of Milwaukee, tickets for Kenny Rogers and a nice hotel stay overnight. First of all this hotel is centrally located to everything. They were able to walk back from the Riverside to the hotel after. The started their morning with Starbucks and Red Arrow park across the street. The hotel was classic, but it was VERY well maintained and clean. The room was great! The bar and entrance beautiful. But the HIGHLIGHT of the hotel stay was that my mom mentioned upon checking in the reason she was there, not thinking much of it. When she got back to her hotel room after seeing Kenny Rogers, there was a bottle of wine and chocolate covered strawberries there waiting for her. A small gift and note from the front desk wishing her a happy birthday and hoping she enjoyed the show. My mom was thrilled. We really wanted her to have a perfect evening to celebrate her milestone birthday and you guys put the finishing touch on it for us. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! We'll definitely be back.
Rooms are small but average for Milwaukee Hotels.
A good location in the heart of Milwaukee.
Nice hotel in the center of everything. By intercontinental standards, smallish rooms but views are nice. The entry and other public spaces have been modernized and have a contemporary feel. Great staff and service.
The hotel is old. Felt like I was in the 70s in my room in alot of ways. But the restaurant and bar area are very modern. I prefer a more modern, sterile feel. This was more "Grandma and Grandpa's when you were younger" feel.
Desk was broken. They only gave us 1 regular coffee and 1 decaf. Didn't replenish the towels. No refrigerator or microwave. Need to call to get them, charge for the microwave. One outlet for charging on 1 side of the bed. 1 pair of slippers.
The service from the staff is outstanding. Rooms are clean and quiet.
A great location to explore local food and near a shopping mall.
I was there with my husband for MSOE Parents weekend since it was 2 blocks to our sons apartment.
Food was wonderful! ! Very central location.
I'm looking forward to visit again.
