My wife and I stayed here when in town for a HOG (Harley Owners Group) rally. The staff was very helpful. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable. The microwave was old, but we never used it - just looked a little sketchy. Towels were awesome. Pool was large but a little chilly. Pool area was very nice. Hot tub was small but good. Lounge was nice, staff there were also good. We were both on bikes so parking wasn't bad, but it would be tough to get a larger pickup in there. I never felt "unsafe" at any time, which was a concern of ours given the area and the fact that we live in a very small town. We would definitely stay here again.
Very nicely remodeled and renovated. But the best part was the absolutely extraordinary fantastic customer service. The entire staff was beyond friendly and cater to any needs that we had with a smile. It is rare to find such exceptional customer service these days and if I could give them 10 stars for that I would. The breakfast was Top Notch. There was hot food food to grab on the go anything you wanted possible to drink perfect to start to your day in a super awesome environment and again fantastic customer service.
The manager, Julia, is the most unhelpful, inhospitable person I have ever encountered with. Not only is she extremely rude but when I tried to book a reservation with my points for my employees she wouldn't let them check in because it was under my name even though in the reservation notes online I explained who would be checking into the room as well as calling in months in advance to make sure everything is set up correctly for them. I am hours away and she has the nerve to say "well you can drive here and check them in" when I'm not even staying at that hotel. I have been in the hospitality industry for years and have never been so unimpressed and disappointed in the service. I had to book ANOTHER reservation at a different hotel and did it the exact same way with no problem. Never dealing with this hotel again. - P.S. the male was 23 years old
Just a follow up to our last review. We had stayed in Milwaukee at the Best Western Milwaukee West, Milwaukee, WISCONSIN for a concert the first time and when we "won" tickets to another concert in the city we knew we would want to again stay at the same hotel. It is less than 10 minutes to the BMO center for events. The staff are some of the most friendly we have ever encountered. Even though we had only stayed once before they treated us like old friends. We will stay again if ever in the area for any reason.
We stayed over the holiday, and sprung for one of the jacuzzi tub rooms. Reasonable price and amazing room with a full kitchenette and the tub was amazing! The free breakfast was decent, had eggs, hash browns and meat each morning, a pancake machine, juice, pastries, and also had non dairy milk available (soy and vanilla almond) in addition to normal and chocolate milk which was a great touch. Lots of condiment choices and fresh fruit and whipped cream for the pancakes was a wonderful treat. The hotel was really clean despite being short staffed and although the parking lot was small we never had issue finding parking despite coming in quite late some nights. Definitely my go-to hotel from now on!
