Alot of great stores to visit. Big parking lot. Good place to visit with family. Good place to shop, and get good food.
Great place to shop around, and various places to eat at there as well. It's pretty safe too.
(3) staff is attentive. unfortunately, they don't take our insurance, so we did not purchase glasses there, but as soon as my daughter walked out of the exam room with her perscription, someone was offering to help her pick out glasses. She was mortified at the thought of wearing glasses, so the quick exit without glasses suited her just fine. Every time I've been there, the store seems pretty well staffed.
ps - since this post concerns my daughter (my pride and joy), I read her the review, to ensure she was okay with it.
Half Priced Books, Dollar Store, and Joanne's for the wife and kids. Ample parking, great location, although hoping for a good anchor store to replace Sports Authority, and New To You Kids. Really miss New To You Kids store.
Went to lenscrafters for my daughter. She has now joined the sophisticated group of glasses wearers.
(1) I need yearly eye exams because of lasik- honestly started going there because it was close to my former job. Have been going to that location for about 5 years now. Have consistently had the same ophthalmologist, which is nice (some eye stores switch doctors regularly), to me, it helps me feel more comfortable to consistently see the same person. I've had issues with other doctors, which explains the 4 star rating later in post (the suspense, lol).

Reasons I went to Lenscrafters:
this past exam for me, my regular doctor was out (how DARE he have a life outside my precious vision/ needs, right?!?)- for those that need the guided notes, I'm kidding & being sarcastic/ facetious. I get it, stuff comes up. But for this visit, when my regular doc was out, I saw another doctor (dun duh dun...). As part of my Lasik package, I need a full exam (including dilation) every year. The doctor I saw gave me my regular eye exam, then stated I didn't need dilation. huh?!? What?!? this is a condition of my Lasik contract (if I ever need my eyes "tweaked", it'll be covered, as long as the dilation is done yearly).
Hallmark Card Shop is located here along with a flower shop and pizza restaurant that delivers. Convenient and pleasant places to visit.
Her response? "I like tacos". So, I guess it's a win? Either that or she needs a stronger prescription for her glasses, if she mistook lenscrafters for the taco truck.
*pop quiz* Remember when I said I like seeing the same doctor? Or I had to get a yearly exam because of Lasik?
I highly doubt people are stopping in to randomly get dilated, without a reason. Personally, I never like looking like I just left a rave, unless, of course, I had in fact been raving my face off. But, on the plus side, I could leave lenscrafters & drive, and I'm sure I looked/ smelled better than when leaving a rave.
But the situation kind of bothered me - that he didn't listen to what I was saying, or understand why the dilation needed to be done.
So, after the exam I spoke to a customer rep, who got me in right away for the dilation with another doctor, who agreed that I did need the dilation (yay team)!
(2) I'm a slacker. As bad as it sounds (honest reviews, right)?- I probably should've scheduled my daughter's visit sooner. BUT- this location is awesome. Remembered about daughter needing eye exam at about 1 in the morning. Was able to set up appointment online for same day, (Saturday) with ophthalmologist I usually see. AND, as an added bonus, they called at about 9 am to confirm/ remind (which was great, because if you're like me, and schedule appointments at 1 in the morning, there's a chance you think it's part of an elaborate dream, and forget you scheduled said appointment).
