It’s fun to be there on your lazy day. They have a great history of Harley Davidson, which is very impressive. Museum is not so big big one. It’s nice small one. You can see some awesome work people did with their Harley bike.
I had a few hours to kill before my hotel room check-in and decided to visit . The admission ($20) is rather steep for a small collection. However, the place is interesting and exhibits are arranged chronologically with placards having some detail. I would recommend the guided tour. If not an audio guide is recommended ($4). The audiophile of guide is well narrated and enhances the museum experience. The guide had two headphone jacks . You may react to confirm at the desk if two people could share it. The museum has a dedicated motor cycle parking just in front of the entrance 2.
Good fun even if your not a die hard Harley fan. Plenty of history to.read, old photos, and bikes. A bit for the gear heads. Not too much for kids. We had lunch. Good pub grub. Of course, a good size museum shop.
Fun opportunity to learn about this iconic company. I also had the chance to meet Mr. Davidson's grandson on a marketing trip here - great man. I had my Senior Prom here about 6 years ago. It was a great space.
Very cool museum! Fun and interesting even for non-Harley people. Good meeting/conference facilities. My last company had a customer appreciation dinner there with a full bar... went over GREAT with customer reps and company staff.. most had never been there and all loved it. Interesting exhibits, rare old bikes and famous ones from movies, events and actors/celebrities... makes it interesting for all visitors. Stop in and enjoy!
