Great place for children and adults to learn about almost anything you can imagine. Get there early to get a good parking spot and plan on spending at least 2 hours there. Definitely recommend.
Discovery world is broken into 2 parts pretty much an aquarium and the science world. They are separated by a walkway which has really nice views of the lake. The aquarium is nice. I was disappointed one of the touch tanks was closed when went. I was also a little bummed some of the exhibits on the science side weren't operational. The science side is definitely geared towards kids but all in all i enjoyed going.
A wonderful place. The Les Paul wing is an amazing look at the history of modern recording and the electric guitar. Lots of hands on machines and a gorgeous aquarium. A must see when near Milwaukee.
Took my 10 year old and 4 year old here. It was awesome. It is so interactive. My inner kid came out and I might have enjoyed it as much as the kids did. They allow you to bring in your own food which is a huge plus. If we lived closer we would definitely become members.
I would totally five this place a five star review of it wasn't for one single employee. MARSHALL. He was quite rude to my group of first graders and the teacher. Just sat there with head down sitting on the hate. Shook his head in irritation instead of explaining the correct way to participate in the exhibit. Everyone else was super friendly and helpful. But it really seems like MARSHALL did not want to be there at all.. so why is he?
