A bunch of kids work there. So they're hyper & tend to forget your order...a lot. But at least they're nice.
Do not go there for lunch! It took almost an hour to get wings for two people and it wasn't even packed. They also got rid of their Tuesday traditional wing special (which they neglected to mention). So not only did we have to wait for a really long time for food, we paid twice what we expected and it made us late back to work. We requested to go boxes and the check by the time food came. Wings were fine, just not worth the trouble.
Came in for beer and football on Saturday 11/18 around 10 after working all day. One big table of girls towards the front and two other guys at the bar, otherwise the place was pretty much empty. Ordered wings and tacos, was really surprised by how long the wait was considering the place was dead. While waiting for my food, around 10:30, a pizza delivery guy came and dropped off 4-5 pizzas off with the BWW manager. I asked the bartender if she could change the channel from weather to a football game ( bartender was nice) and she said she had to get the manager to do it. Since the manager and everyone but the bartender we're having a pizza party in the back, by the time she actually came out to help, there was only a minute left in the game and it was irrelevant at that point. I was getting a little irritated but told myself if the wings come out fresh and hot, no worries. I was just craving good chicken wings. After just under an hour of waiting (empty restaurant and I was eating alone), my food finally came out and it was cold...really cold. Couldn't be more disappointed. Told the bartender I was not going to eat the food, paid for my two beers and left.
Be sure to tell your boss that you'll be late getting back from lunch. I work downtown and eat here often... wings are always good and service people usually decent. They just can't seem to do anything in a hurry. In fact, they are no longer leaving the timer on the table when they take your order. I guess they had to give away too many free wings?
Cute little shop with wings and waffles. Many unique favors, friendly staff, and reasonable price. Seat area is a bit tight, probably best to order to go.
