Terrible pizza, a gimmick at best. you know what would be good there a good coffee shop something with a good vibe where the students can hang out but with good coffee, there are no good coffee spots around, re open as a cafe, call it cafe monster and serve giant coffees you knuckleheads. monster pizza lol you cant compete with $5 pizzas from lil ceasers and blaze forget it
Pizza slices are huge! Good quality. 3 to 4 dollars for a slice. They serve beer as well. Nothing fancy but good food. Fair amount of seating.
living on the east side for 30 years I had to check this place out, we actually liked SOLO pizza so figured we would try the owners new idea, man it was just terrible, place was FILTHY , the manager had a nasty mean look on his face and the staff had no idea what is going on. The pizza was around $4 for a decent size, but it comes with the worst quality cheese, and the pizza was grossly undercooked, basically a gimmick (giant monster pizza) but gimmicks dont last if the service and food quality is so poor. this was comparable to a pizza you just microwaved a giant soupy sloppy MESS. I don't know why this dude changed his concept of SOLO pizza, they were decent, id imagine only to compete with Sals up the block doing the slice thing? never again. you can get a better pie for $5 at little Caesars across the street, its better quality that should tell you everything about this monster mess.
