I am not happy I have been with public storage for almost two years. Within the two years I have went from paying $80 - $200 per month. for the same storage. I have never missed a month . Not one. I would think that I would be well received but no. I for the last 5 months been hit with fees after fees. And I have been late two to three times with fees that just leave me feeling pimped. I get charged new keys fee each month. Because when I was late even though I have never missed a month they cut off my lock so it has to be replaced. My bro. grand mother then father died within two weeks of each other . All live in other states. We had to raise money for two of the services. Plus pay late fees for being late to public storage. plus new keys fee plus now they adding insurance fees. First the insurance fees were included in the fees now they needed to be re added. At any rate my fees have sky rocked from $80 to almost $200 per month. I was also treaded that my storage would be taken and they send me a list of items I had in my storage to make sure that I knew that they knew what I had . And had been in my storage. But there was no mention of the fact that someone dropped my new computer from a shelf to the concrete floor. And no offer for replacement. But they make sure I know that they will take my things even though I have never missed 30 days payment to them in full plus fees. I have never been penalized before for staying with a company by the company before but if you are faithful to public storage this is what you can look forward to.
