The food was great. A little on the pricey side but we'll worth what you get. I strongly recommend for gluten free sandwiches! I loved the classic cheesy roast beef and tomato soup. My fiancé loved the colonel comet chicken sandwich. Seriously good and in a really nice atmosphere!
When going to Milwaukee over this is where i want to go for brunch. They have amazing vegan and vegetarian options. Be prepared for a wait, it isn't that big of a place, unless you show up early.
MY BOYFRIEND AND I CAN’T FIGURE THIS PLACE OUT!!! We have eaten here 4 times now and literally don’t get it. We keep coming back because everyone raves about this place. I’m honestly dumbfounded.
Great food, especially for a late night spot. Had to visit after I saw it on Diners Drive-In's and Dives. Mac and Cheese is delicious, and you can get bacon on everything. Also had a surprising amount of vegan/ vegetarian options, and a great beer selection.
Just a solid food experience. The Reuben breakfast burrito was ridic. Their drinks are okay. Wouldn't write home about the bloody or the mimosa. Great beer selection, though! They have a great vibe - chill, a little hipster, but doesn't beat you over the head with it. We had a lot of fun! But either get there early or prepare to wait anywhere from 15-30 minutes on average.
I will say - I had the vegan breakfast burrito today and that was on point. I gave Comet 2 stars because of that burrito.
Maybe we aren’t eating the right things - but the menu is trash.
The vegan Mac and cheese is terrible - so bland and this time it was even cold. The vegan ribs on the appetizer menu were absolutely disgusting. They tasted like paper. The fries are ok - standard fries you can get basically anywhere.
The vegan biscuits and gravy are out of this world. You will not be disappointed!
