Entree was above average.
I was really looking forward to checking out this new location since I always liked the one that closed down town. I was in last night with my sisters we were celebrating a birthday. First of all we tried to call to make a reservation and the phone went to a full mailbox voice mail. We tried to call the Waukesha location and it was disconnected so you might want to fix your phones... Anyway walking in felt like we were entering a cafeteria. Not what I expected. Our server was not friendly at all and we had to ask multiple times for things we needed and paid for. I was a waitress for 12 years so I understand not having a great day sometimes but you have to sometimes put on a smile and know your customer.. unfortunate for her we would have tipped 25% had we gotten somewhat decent service. Instead she made out with about 11% tip which was still probably too much. The food was also below par. I was extremely disappointed. I've had authentic Mexican food and this was not. There was no flavor. And it was way overpriced. I hoped the margaritas would redeem things but those made it even worse. They were horrible!! For 24$ pitcher they tasted like the worst cheap tequila with watery limeade.. I got a headache from drinking one... We didn't even want to ask about a birthday dessert we just wanted to go. I will never come back here again nor will I recommend this place. Its unfortunate but it's not what I remember La Fuentes being. A damn shame..
The food was just okay; not something I'd order again. Tasted similar to something that would come from the frozen foods section. Staff was very friendly and welcoming though.
I drive past here every day and it always has tons of customers so we thought we'd try it out. Was seated right away even though it was very busy. Friendliest staff I've ever seen all of them had smiles on their faces. Manualla (I know I didn't spell his name right) was our waiter. Talk about service! Wow he was excellent and the restaurant is lucky to have him. Food was excellent and drinks were great. Nicest dining experience I've had in years. Will most definitely will be going there again. Thanks for the great time.
Service is top notch.
Awesome food here and nice wait staff. Always a good amount of people here. Sometimes needs reservations in advance to be able to not have a long wait. Great place for meeting large groups of friends and family. Free chips at the table is always a plus.
