The city of Milwaukee is clearly running a scam. I got a parking ticket for violating a rule that was NOT POSTED anywhere! I even went to their website and submitted my license plate (I heard that there was an overnight requirement), but there was no alternating side rule mentioned there.
On top of that, the URL to pay is broken! They are violating my constitutional right to a fair trial by requiring a physical "appointment" in a city over 1000 miles away. I recommend staying away from downtown Milwaukee.
This review is of the City Hall building, and not the Common Council (which I would rate much lower). City Hall is a beautiful historic building, with an atrium that extends the height of the building. If the Common Council is in session, you can visit the Common Council Chamber on the 3rd floor.
