I like the option of email receipts. I hope that they have paperless receipts sometime soon in the future.
The worst part of this store is that there used to be a True Value nearby that they put out of business. Stuff at the True Value costed 5-10% more, but I never got the run arounds on common items.
They get 2 stars for competitive prices. Otherwise it would be 1 star.
I live close by and have been to this store a lot. Most of the time I go there and have to ask where something is I get sent all over the store. I just asked 3 employees in a row for the location of the soil test kit, and I am leaving without a very obvious item.
I also like there online pick-up option.
friendly and helpful for one.Two yesterday I accidentally left my tablet in a cart outside.,when I noticed I didn't have it 20 mins. master I rushed back looking for the guy who collects the carts to see if he found it.Any how I didn't find him.Well thinking someone else found it and kept it I came across a manager asked him for the cart guyHe told me his name and asked why I was looking for him.I explained why , he then asked for name brand and something to prove about my tablet.He said wait here, when he comes back he has my tablet I showed him picture that matched the ones on my phone so he gave it to me.As I was leaving I came across the cart guy.I thanked him.He said it was the right thing to do.I thanked him again , shook his hand and gave him $10.00 .If all the employees are as honest as him Home Depot has a hell of a team.
I like using the Home Depot App while I shop. It meant to find what I'm looking for. however if I have a question there is always someone around to ask.

Update: things seam to be getting better with this store. I've now had several positive experiences in a row. Also the app really helps in locating itema and avoiding wasted trips. So while I am still cautious I am adding a star.
Manager was super helpful! Very knowledgeable of plumbing part I needed. Not in stock but informed me where to buy. Docked a star because some previous staff experiences have been more nuetral.
The previous time I was there I bought plywood and asked for it to be cut into manageable pieces. After waiting quite a while for someone to show up, the guy jammed the saw through the wood cause tearouts in over an inch in some spots. Which wasted material. The time before that I waited and asked several times for someone to cut wood. When someone finally showed up they she said that the panel saw was broken and they couldn't cut. Yet none of the previous employees I had asked to have wood cut where informed enough to tell me.
