Excellent!!!!!
Well kept grounds. Very professional, attended a military burial service. On the VA grounds and historical sites of West Milwaukee.
I have spent many weekends there during Reclaiming Our Heritage which was a great time and weekend for people to visit the grounds and buildings as well as take the cemetery tour. I also participate in the Memorial Day Services held there the last Monday in May in the morning up in the cemetery by the freeway and before the memorial day parade in Downtown Milwaukee. It is definitely a service that every single person should attend in their lifetime it is very moving and touching and you get the true meaning of the day and what it is all about. I have also been in the cemetery other times to enjoy the peace and quiet of the grounds as well as the beauty of the place and serenity away from the rat race of every day living. I recommend you take a trip to the VA grounds and see our countries history right in our own backyard. It is also one of the most intact grounds in the country and one of the original 3 signed into existence by President Abraham Lincoln prior to his assassination. If you do or don't love history it is still worth the visit tovisit and thank our past veterans for their service .
This is where those who served our country to keep us FREE reside NOW. Pay tribute to them.
I could not locate my husband who passed away back in 1995 and thanks to Theresa, she was able to give me all the info I needed in order to go visit his grave.
