Shrimp masala was superb. All other dishes simply wonderful. House-made soft drinks were enjoyed by all. Only issue was food was a bit over salted.

Local farm to table items. Menu is globally inspired the atmosphere is awesome. Nice patio area in Summer. The manager made us feel welcome and the foods is the best. Great shareable dishes. The care is definitely in the food. Great spices and food is the Best.

Overrated! I was with a party of 5 on a Thursday night. We each ordered 2-3 plates from the menu. The waitress was in such a hurry that she left the table before everyone ordered – We had to ask another wait person to get our waitress. Our server was in ‘drive-by mode’ because when the food finally started to arrive she literally slid the plates on our table as she passed by. The only thing she acknowledged is when our drinks got low (I guess they know where the margin is). When we did want something we had to flag down another person to get their attention. There was not one plate stood out as extraordinary in taste or presentation. I am a great cook in my own right, so my disappointment comes from the fact that nothing we ordered came close to what comes from my kitchen on a given night. – I have no interest in ever going back.

2. I told them how it's supposed to be and the answerwas " If it wasn't for you we won't ever know that"

1. The name of the dish was wrong

3. The pasta it's supposed to be homemade but it tasted so bad, and the gnocchi were kinda of green grey

La Merenda really is a local gem, it is also a great date atmosphere. For anyone looking for tapas, this is the place to go. It can be difficult to get a reservation, especially over the weekend. As of this review, you can come when they open and they have a large open shared table that is first come, first serve. I have eaten at the shared table and traditional tables and always enjoyed dinners here. The menu is semi-rotating, so you will often see new options when you return. A single restaurant generally is not able to make food of so many different cultures good, but this place pulls it off. Parking can be somewhat difficult, but they do have a valet. Probably for the best, since the area around isn't very pretty. For whatever reason, if you insist on pop/soda, La Merenda doesn't carry it. They have their own artisan sodas, but to be honest, they're not great. But seriously, that point is hardly worth mentioning as the food is fantastic. This place is definitely one of my local favorites.

I'm itlian and I went there for dinner and I asked for gnocchi:
